Haul: Mac Daphne Guinness, Benefit, Shu Uemura.. Blah
Halu Haul!
Hope you all had a great weekend, which could be a simple gathering or a great shopping weekend with your family. It’s been a while since I did a make-up haul.
I was able to abstain from any collection launches after the Mac ice parade, but with my new found blush obsession I failed to resist some of the recent releases.
Mac’s most recent release to Philippines is Daphne Guinness Collection last Sarurday Feb 5, 2012.
I didn’t end up with a big haul but with one lovely irresistible product that caught my attention, Azalea Blossom Blush Ombre.
Ombre blushes are so pretty.. Each blush contains 2 distict shade that creates a gradient that fades from one lighter color to a darker one.
Stored in a large pan with a release to open button and housed 9 grams of product which is fairly huge compared to regular blushes at 6 grams- thus explaining the steeper price it retails for PHP1,800.
I love Azalea Blossom for it looks unique- has a cool toned light pink and a darker blue based pink.
I don't have any purple-ish pink blushes yet, so I can't resist but take it with me =P.
So yeah, I will do my proper review and swatch as soon as I can..)

Since I have some Rustan’s Gc’s to splurge, I got some other few stuff.
I also picked up 4 permanent shades of lipstick from MAC- a Lustre lipstick in Housewine, Mac cremesheen in Brave Red. However, I purchased the MAC Speak Louder and Mac Shy Girl from Duty Free Phils when I picked up some goodies for Valerie of Doll Princess same day .
I’ll definitely line these lippies up for review, well hopefully after my guerlain review that I haven’t finished yet.

I also ran out of concealer so, I picked the shu uemura point cealer that I am longing to try for quite some time now, I am so interested and intrigued on this product as I read lots of good raves about it.
And I want to fall back in love with Shue Uemura Cleansing Oil so I also picked the 150 ml bottle.
Then I immediately went to Greenbelt 5 after I received a call from Benefit Cosmetics Consultant telling me that Hervana Good Karma Blush is back on stock!
Hurray, so yes I headed up to Benefit to pick up my Hervana Blush and Benefit Hoola.
I’ve been wanting to try these babies since they’re always running out of stock.
So I just hope I’ll like it.

I’ve gotten something too for my Hubby and my precious baby but I don’t want to bore you reading those stuff so, I’ll end it up here.. and be back on my next review together with some swatches!

azalea blossom... that was a part of the spring colour forecast before,diba?i remember kasi i joined a contest before with that as the theme & i found that blush to be truly pretty!^_^
Hi Anna yes, Mac Iris was launched ahead- before the Daphne, lippies from this collection was sold out already (Rustan's Makati).. I found the MAC Naturally Collection-in Duty Free Philippines but there's only one Mineralize Blush available, I didn't check the whole collection though.. 'coz they don't have any tester yet..
I too want Benefit Hervana. Its a nice blush.

The MAC blusher is just so cute! Wondering if i should consider that one instead of the Topshop cream blusher... I like the Topshop one because it's cream instead of powder, hehe. :D
OMG the Mac counter at Makati has Shy Girl and Speak Louder!? I'll definitely check them out! I've been wondering for the longest time how they will look on my skin. Nice haul, btw! :)

I have such a love hate relationship with Hoola. Sometimes it's perfect (mainly my darker summer complexion) and sometimes it can come out so muddy looking. Let us know what you think about both powders.
