FOTD: MAC AZALEA BLOSSOM Review & Swatch

MAC AZALEA BLOSSOM is a powder blush featuring a shade wave of gentle ombre hues. The ultra-fine formula provides the cheeks a flawless, medium-buildable coverage, lightly pearled, and natural-looking radiance.

Described as a “light cool pink” and has a cool-toned, blue-based pink with a pearly sheen.
This Limited edition Blush was originally released with Spring Colour Forecast, and now included/repromoted in the Daphne Guinness collection that currently launches in MAC Philippines.
There are only two Ombre blushes from this collection, the Azalea Blossom and Vintage Grape Blush Ombre (mid toned violet pink) but I find the former to be more wearable on my NC20 skintone.
Stored in a large pan with a release to open button and housed 9 grams of product which is fairly huge compared to regular blushes at 6 grams. A great bargain for the price of PHP1,800 as you get more product with two shades in every pan.

Azalea Blossom is so pretty to look at with a gradient that aren’t really overspray, instead it’s two color, that fades from one light cool pink color to darker, blue based pink.

You can use the two colors individually for a desired look or swirl them together to create another unique single shade.

I find the Ombre blushes much softer than MAC’s regular blushes.
They offer the same semi-opaque yet buildable coverage with a nice sheen and almost matte finish, not really shimmery compared to MSFs.

I agree they look scary on the pan, but once applied it just leaves a glowy, natural looking flush that you'll definitely love.
Aww, I just love how it looks on skin.
