Clarisonic Mia-2 Leopard
Hi sweethearts! Hope all is well with you all. This past couple of weeks has been quite stressful for me. Instead of being buried in boredom and moping around, I figured I need to have some few quick fixes. What better way to relieve stress than a little online “retail theraphy’? right?!
I got myself a Clarisonic MIA2 from Carefreeshopper, so far carefreeshopper is the only online store (here in Philippines)- that offers the newest version of Clarisonic-Mia version 2 in pretty reasonable price. I’ve been drive testing it for 3 days now and I’m pleasantly surprised. Definitely happy with my purchase! Honestly, I never thought that I would love it- I was one of the few skeptics who didn’t believe in purchasing this product even with all the hype and buzz around the product- so I never gotten myself any of clarisonic products before.
But then when I saw it with Carefreeshopper, one of my favorite online shopping stores, I couldn’t resist trying it out.
I just received the unit so I can only give you some of my initial thoughts and some snapshots of the product. I will definitely let you know if it did some further improvements with my oily sensitive skin.
About the Product
The clarisonic MIA 2 is a handheld device that uses some interchangeable quality rotary brushes and sonic frequency to gently expoliate, loosen dirt, make-up and oil as it reduces the appearance of pores and wrinkles. Clarisonic cleansing is proven to remove six times more make-up rthan traditional manual cleansing-allowing serums and moisturizers to absorb better. Skin is left soft, pampered, radiant, and younger-looking--without harsh abrasion or chemicals. It's so gentle, you can use it twice a day.

MIA2 inherits the travel convenient design from the original MIA-(which I never had) I believe MIA2 improves with a two different speed LOW AND NORMAL and Pulsing T-timer. I prefer the Low speed wherein the MIA lacks to offer for it only has the NORMAL speed. I don't find the pulse timer really useful for me coz I don't typically wash my face for a full 60 secs. I find 60 seconds too lengthy for me.
MIA2 has a protective case to store the unit and keep away from dust. I also love how all Clarisonic units are water-proof which means you can take and use it even in the tub or shower.
The kit comes with a very convenient magnetic portable charger. It can last for 20 mins of use on a full charge.
Two Interchangeable Brush Heads which all comes with a cap for more hygienic storage are also included: Sensitive Brush for regular washing and Deep Pore Cleansing brush Head for optimal cleansing targeting the hard to reach and uneven areas.
My skin is sensitive and I’m happy on how Clarisonic cleans, exfoliates and removes my make-up so gently and effectively— I could tell the difference even just after the 1st use as it leaves me no breakout but a supple, clean and smooth skin.. However, due to sonic vibration of the unit, i can't properly clean my nose area as it really tickles my nose and I sneeze every time the product goes near it, I just wish there's an option to lessen or remove the vibration when it's time to clean the nose area. LOL!
I would definitely recommend this product as a part of your skincare routine. Knowing the product’s sonic frequency of 300 movements per sec way faster compared to manually cleansing your face, thus leaving your skin much cleaner and supple for it gently rids of all the dirt, oil and make-up. Moreover, it makes your other skincare products seep deep into your skin for better results. However, if you are still thinking on whether or not to purchase this product due to its price and necessity, here are some advice- if your skin is in a pretty good condition to begin with then there’s no hurry, go wait for a better offer. But if you do have a budget for it, then by all means, it’s great and really useful to have.

I'm hesitant to try the Clarisonics because there are so many similar and much cheaper products on the market. Unless I really felt that the sonic motion made a huge difference It's just too much money for me to spend on something - especially since my skin is doing pretty well lately~ Hee...honestly I love the exterior though!

Aww I wish I had waited to get my Mia instead. I have the original but mine isn't nearly as cute as yours. I like how the new one has 2 speeds and comes with the case too :) But as for the Clarisonic itself, I really like it. It removes my bb creams and liquid foundations very well so I don't have to use a separate makeup remover first.

I bought this same one a few months ago and I'm totally addicted to it! I'm really behind on creating a review on it, but I highly recommend Clarisonic to everyone! It's such an amazing tool and it leaves my skin feeling fresh, I don't even need to cleanse my skin every day, which is a nice change for my skin :)

good review, i've being late on my blog readings..and i just saw this post today...lol but iv always wanted a Clarisonic, but they are so pricey, and i have super sensitive skin...but it seem that everyone is in love with this though..even people with sensitive skin...i dont think ive read one bad review of clarisonic...i still need to think twice about buying though,...its not on the top of my list...but im glad you like it and it works well for you.

ive been using my mia2 since february,i have sensitive skin,also using retin-a.I'm still in the purging process( again) thanks to Myra tinted moisturizer.i badly reacted after just one application. In all honesty,the Purging is real bad.
Gosh im so jealous with the print!Now the hubby can say his I TOLD YOU So everytym he sees my pink mia2.THey also have this gorgeous colors for springJessyT Have you inquired about the warranty for this one? my supplier sent me the order number just in case mine gets broken.I still have two years to hold on to my pink mia. :(
