Haul: Sigma Brushes + Mini Sigma Palette
Hurrah, Finally arrived!
I made this order over a month ago. My package arrived almost 1 month after my payment was confirmed which was a tad bit slower than my first order from Sigma Beauty. Maybe they have been very busy processing orders because many people are taking advantage of their affordable prices.
Anyway it’s worth the long wait. Everything was nicely packaged; the brushes all have their own brush guards. I love the fluffy and velvety feel of these brushes!
Here's what I got:
Sigma F25- Tapered Face Brush
Large domed brush with a nice tapered tip. For my contouring, highlighting and blending of powder products.

Sigma F30- Large Powder Brush
Very dense with a rounded top. Ideal to apply powder products on face and body. Natural bristles.
Sigma E45- Small tapered Blending Brush
Small domed brush with highly tapered tip in applying and blending colors to the crease area.
Sigma E55- Eye shading brush,
Natural bristles; for pressed or loose eye shadows and pigments.
And the Sigmax Brushes- The kit holds three differently shaped kabuki brushes, made for giving you an airbrushed finish.
F80 - Flat Top Kabuki
The F80 Flat Top Kabuki brush is perfect for applying and blending liquid, cream, and powder products onto the skin. The flat surface allows perfect buffing with flawless results. Features synthetic Sigmax HD fibers.
F82 - Round Top Kabuki
The F82 Round Top Kabuki brush simplifies precise makeup application under the eyes and around the nose. This brush is also perfect for achieving flawless coverage using liquid and powder products. Features synthetic Sigmax HD fibers.
F84 - Angled Top Kabuki

However, I'm quite disappointed with the handle of my F80. I wonder why it's different from the other sigma brushes that I ordered. It is so glossy and shiny.. eeekk I don't like. I want them to be all the same.
I have contacted Sigma about it, they answered that they have changed their design but they guaranteed that the quality of the handles, the glossy and matte, are the same.
I don't know.. but, I don’t like the glossy finish at all. And, they should have updated the descriptions and photos so we, as buyers, won’t be surprised, right? Moreover, they should have given us an option to choose the handle that we please.
That really matters to me. I don’t know if I was wrong or what but I just want all my brushes to be uniform in Matte Black. *sighing*
EDIT: Message from Sigma Oct.1 ;
"We are currently in the process of updating all of the brushes to the new glossy finish. Unfortunately, we do not have any F80 brushes left with the matte handle. I do apologize if you are not interested in the new finish. If you would like, we will be happy to send you the F82 and F84 with the shiny handle."
--Thanks Sigma but I would like to keep my Matte F82 and F84 instead. I just hope that the F80 and other Sigma Brushes will be available again in Matte.

Anyhooo, I'm still pleased with the free gift that they have sent to me~ a Free Mini Eye shadow palette!
I adore the packaging of this mini palette. It is pretty and sturdy, there’s a nicely sized mirror inside and has a great magnet closure. It includes 3 versatile shades for a cute on-the-go look~ each from Dare, Bare, and Flare Collection. It is so cuute and of very good quality.
The shadows are pigmented enough and sure you can create some great looks with this mini palette!

I’m looking forward to trying more from Sigma Brushes because of their decent prices compared to Mac!

I just got the Synthetic Face Kit as well, but I don't believe my handles are glossy. Now I want to go home to check and make sure! That's unfortunate that they didn't advertise the change, or try to group the brushed together that have matching handles.

I agree that they should have at least informed their customers of certain changes. However, I like the mini palette.
I know what you mean, sometimes things just have to all be the same, especially if it's something you have to look at every single day! the eyeshadows look really cute!

This is one thing I still need to invest in...a good set of brushes! I've seen the bloggers post sigma on their sidebar so I think I should look into this line! The eyeshadows are beautiful!

Every time I see Sigma brushes it makes me want to purchase them! *Sigh* Anyway, I would probably feel the same way about the brushes not being uniform. They should make a kit all the same! The cute free gift is adorable though! :D

I really want to get a set of the Sigma brushes for myself. They seem to be a good choice considering they are affordable, but high quality brushes. I usually don't like to make a big deal about small things, but I understand what you mean about the brush handle. It would bother me too because the brush would look out of place amongst the rest of your brushes. Personally I prefer the matte handles as well.

I hear NONSTOP great things about the Sigma brushes.. I definitely need to order some! I can't decide if it's a better investment to get a set or individual brushes.. ;/
if you'll end up from buying all the brushes, better to get the set.. you can save some moolah and you'll get same quality ^^. hihi

The design is of the handle is very important to me too. I always buy brushes with a black matte handle because they look more professional and I like to have all my brushes looking the same.
I'm not getting Sigma's new brushes because the handles have a glossy shiny finish.
